JD KIRKWOOD

JD Kirkwood is an injection of housing density within the predominantly single-family housing patterns of Atlanta’s Kirkwood neighborhood. The project features five hybrid single-family units that blend the amenities of single-family housing with the density of urban townhomes. Within the surrounding context of residences in traditional styles, JD Kirkwood aims to balance the need for additional housing density while maintaining the neighborhood’s identity and character. The project’s architecture integrates traditional neighborhood styles and materials on street-facing facades with modern treatments at the rear and on interiors.
