ABES RESIDENCE

The Abes Residence is a new-build single family residence within Atlanta’s historic Morningside neighborhood. Custom designed for a family desiring more free living, the house employs clean geometry and minimalistic finishing for a laid-back yet elegant living environment. The house’s volumetric arrangement shifts and transforms in response to the stream buffer, significant bilateral topography, and heritage trees throughout the rear of the property while maintaining a unified street facade. The result is a commanding yet restrained presence that hints at the underlying geometric complexities demanding of the site.
