CHURCHILL GROUNDS

Churchill grounds in an adaptive reuse and addition to an existing single story retail building at East Atlanta Village’s (EAV) main intersection — the heart of the neighborhood’s prominent entertainment district. The project’s upper story, which will become one of EAV’s only rooftop bars, overlooks vast outdoor seating at the street corner to promote urban vibrancy. Garage doors and a dual sided bar at the ground floor further connect interior activity to the street and allow for year-round use of the space regardless of weather. The project will infill what was once an empty swatch of inactive concrete with new pedestrian-oriented nightlife.
